Happy Breeders’ Cup, loves.
Horses + Beach + Style + Sunset = The Del Mar Superfecta.
I’m … not really sure what else one would need. THAT is a recipe for a fantastic weekend! Here’s a little background on this year’s #CiaratogaStyle:
- Fascinator: Christine A. Moore Millinery, Official Millner of Breeders’ Cup
I was gifted this lovely dress by my friend who must have known that it would be perfect for a day at the races. The dress has no tag on the inside, so I can’t tell you where it’s from, but that’s what makes it special. It’s so rare that I wear the color black, but I adore florals and the dark background of the dress really made the flowers pop. The fascinator is one you’ve seen before, and I just can’t get enough of it. Classic…if you will 😉
When 2017 began, I set a personal goal of relocating back to Southern California by November 1st, in hopes that I could be a part of #BreedersCup in some capacity. I never imagined that I would have squashed that goal five months ahead of schedule to develop my profession in the sport as a producer with TVG. ✨ Dreams are real. Hard work is indeed worth it. Though I may be working remotely from the studio in Los Angeles, I’m right in the thick of the action. I haven’t missed a race. I’ve gotten all the behind the scenes footage and a front row seat to all aspects leading up to and during this weekend from a unique perspective of live TV. Pretty damn awesome. Pretty damn lucky. Tonight the sun will set at Del Mar Racing with 13 new Breeders’ Cup winners. New memories to last a lifetime where the surf meets the turf. If you haven’t been to Del Mar, it is truly breathtaking. There’s something so peaceful about being able to stroll the beach before or after the races.
To those enjoying the races at home or live from Del Mar… good luck!
