Belmont Stakes ’16 | #CiaratogaStyle

Well, that’s a wrap on the 2016 Triple Crown season! Thrilling races like Saturday’s Belmont Stakes make me very excited for what’s to come this summer for horse racing from coast to coast! Though I was unable to be present in New York to witness all the action, I had a fantastic race day in here in California at The Great Race Place. When it comes to styling myself for the races I normally don’t plan what I’m going to wear too far in advance. However, in the case of this darling dress from Mint Julep Boutique, I knew I had to wear it for the Belmont. The dress matched the races’ color scheme of black & white. It burned a hole in my closet for almost 6 weeks!

I’m so glad that I came across Mint Julep Boutique. I mean, seriously, with a name like that I’d pretty much buy anything from that business. That’s speaking my language: cocktails and cute dresses. Their website is filled with hundreds great clothing items and accessories at a price point you just can’t beat. This was my first experience shopping with them and it won’t be my last.

My dress arrived timely and the quality was wonderful. It is designed to look great on a variety of body types and is truly flattering. However, the only thing I really care about is the back of this dress. I’m not sure if much more needs to be said, it’s perfect. I love how the zipper is elegantly disguised… it’s tasteful… just lovely.
